CANVAS — IGSL uses the Canvas LMS or Learning Management System. When you become part of the IGSL faculty team, you will be given access to IGSL's Canvas Infrastructure. If you are new to Canvas, watching this video will be a good starting point. You will also be given a training course in how to use Canvas.

Canvas provides the system for our faculty to deliver course material to their students, and allows the students to submit their assignments for grading/assessment. It's an efficient system with excellent feedback and tracking, so both faculty and students can see how the student is progressing in the course. Canvas also integrates Turnitin, so that students' assignments will be checked for plagiarism and will be assessed for the originality of their work, even before they submit their final draft. All official communication between faculty and students regarding their class should be coursed through Canvas (not emails or messaging apps).

IGSL Portal — When you become part of the IGSL faculty team, you will also be given access to the IGSL Portal, which is the school's in-house Information System. You can use the Portal to monitor your IGSL financial accounts, pay for services inside the campus, reserve rooms or vans, and much more. The system is still in process, and as the months go by, more features are added to the portal.
