IGSL Faculty
The IGSL faculty are the backbone of the school. The students and staff take their cues from us. What an honor and what a responsibility! May we serve wholeheartedly and steward well the role we have been entrusted with.
We are a varied team in age, cultural backgrounds, areas of specialization, personalities . . . the diversity is endless.

But what we have in common is far more than what we have in diversity. We are passionate about loving God and loving people. We have set our sights on making disciples of all nations. We believe that training leaders for transformation is a key facet of reaching the world for Jesus Christ.

For each section, click on the heading for a more detailed description of that facet of the work of the IGSL faculty.
Degree faculty and PIM faculty see teaching as their primary responsibility, and being a school, IGSL does value academics highly. But IGSL is more than academics. Faculty are involved in leading and mentoring students, involvement with an IGSL strategic team, church participation, and personal and professional development. This section highlights the different facets of our faculty life.
The majority of IGSL faculty members are full-time faculty. We also have associate, affiliate and adjunct faculty who help us carry out our work.

This section clarifies the expectations as well as the responsibilities of the different categories, and shows the faculty presently serving IGSL in each category.
IGSL's accreditation depends on our faculty team having robust academic credentials. Anyone teaching MA or MDiv students must have a higher degree themselves, or be in the process of obtaining a higher degree.

IGSL makes every effort to help its faculty continually upgrade themselves, not only through advanced degree programs, but through seminars and other training to enhance their expertise in their fields. This section explains the different avenues for faculty development.
Although we all raise our own financial support, IGSL seeks to care for each faculty member through a variety of benefits and blessings. The leadership of IGSL raises funds to provide for academic development, so that the faculty members do not have to carry the cost alone. Other activities and programs are designed to help the faculty live a balanced life. This section outlines some types of faculty care available.
This section contains guidelines for faculty in various areas such as academic policies, time commitments, financial guidelines, dress code and more.

Our goal is to minimize the number of rules and regulations, but to maximize systems that will be efficient and effective for all of us.
