Faculty Care
Our best resource at IGSL is our faculty team. We marvel at how God has called us together to be part of the adventure of serving at IGSL. As servant-steward leaders, we stand ready to serve one another, and to intentionally steward this unique resource that is "us".

IGSL has worked hard to create an environment where such care can happen. The sections below highlight some aspects of this environment. You can find more in the Succeeding and Excelling Together section.
We were filled with gratitude when Ezra House was built in 2011—finding suitable homes for faculty was becoming increasingly difficult, and the provision of this building was an amazing answer to our prayers. Ezra House was named in honor of the prophet Ezra, who set his heart to study the Word of God, obey it, and teach it to others (Ezra 7:10).
IGSL provides some funds each year to be used for faculty development and for ministry projects. But somehow, God surprises us regularly with ministry partners who provide even more.
Through IGSL's networks in the Philippines and Asia, you may have opportunities to use your unique areas of expertise to serve beyond the walls of IGSL. This is part of your stewardship of your abilities, training, experience and influence.
Faculty care happens as we love one another well in our faculty community. This can happen in large groups, but we are more likely to connect well in smaller groups. This is why Co-mentoring Groups (CMGs) were created. Our teams and departments also provide venues for healthy community.
If you feel that it would help to have someone to process life's challenges with you, please reach out. There are people in our IGSL community who are trained as counselors and coaches. Or, if you would prefer to avail of counseling and/or coaching from someone outside our community, let LDHR know. We're here to help.
