Life Mentoring
The purpose of the Life Mentoring Strategic Team is to foster holistic development of IGSL students and their families in a loving and caring environment, so they can grow in Christ-likeness and help transform their communities.
The LM Strategic Team is led by Grace Tanudtanud. LM is the relationship champion, seeking to implement strategies for life-on-life mentoring to build character, conviction, and competence in order to help produce servant-steward leaders for strategic impact in fulfilling the Great Commission.

ISG is the small group mentoring environment of IGSL which provides opportunities for character development through community, accountability, and lifelong friendships.

Refer to the comprehensive ISG Faculty Guide to learn more about leading your ISG well. The guide will help you understand the philosophy behind ISGs as well as the roles and responsibilities of an ISG leader. The guide provides a flexible curriculum, as well as ideas for themes and topics, and many other resources.
The LM team conducts a variety of events each year that are designed to help the students grow in their spiritual lives, their personal and family relationships, and their appreciation of the community we live in. These include the weekly Community Chapel Times and Prayer Times, and special events such as Family Day, Day with the Lord, Spiritual Retreat, and Community Retreat.
While our ISG environment and the school's variety of special events are designed to help in the students' spiritual formation, there are times when a student will need professional help in the form of individual counseling or coaching. The ISG leader may need to help the student initiate the process, as not many of our students are familiar with these types of soul care.
IGSL is a family-friendly community. We do not permit married students to come to Manila without their spouses and children. We have a small K-6 school for children inside our campus. The LM team helps families find suitable schools for children grade 7 and higher.

The LM team provides a series of seminars on marriage, parenting, and single life to offer a biblical perspective on these facets of life.
The LM team provides a number of services to the community (including faculty and staff as well as students) to make life more convenient. We have a small clinic and several health assistants to care for those who are sick, and help them in finding medical care off-campus when needed. LM does all the processing of visas for international students and faculty. We also have a an international student advisor to assist international students in their adjustment.
