Strategic Teams

IGSL has five strategic teams. The three educational hub teams are Leadership Programs, Leader Impact, and Life Mentoring. The two support teams are Operations, and Leadership Development and Human Resources.

The three educational hub team leaders collaborate regularly to make sure that the areas of knowledge (head), character (heart) and skills (hands) are being adequately addressed in the students' development as servant steward leaders. It is not correct to say that one strategic team is responsible for each of the three areas (e.g. "Leadership Programs develops our students' heads.") In reality, knowledge, character and skills are developed in the programs of all three hub teams.

The leaders of the five strategic teams report to the Office of the President. The President, Executive Director, and the leaders of the five strategic teams form the Leadership Team (LT) of IGSL.

The purpose of LP is to develop Christ-like, life-long learners who can biblically and theologically engage sectors in culturally relevant ways for transformational impact.

The purpose of LI is to help produce servant-steward leaders by creating team-ministry environments where students develop and exhibit the philosophy, character and skills of Great Commission discipleship in key sectors of society.

The purpose of LM is to foster holistic development of IGSL students and their families in a loving and caring environment, so they can grow in Christ-likeness and help transform their communities.

The purpose of Ops is to provide and steward resources (services, systems, materials, finances, equipment and facilities) in order to help produce servant-steward leaders for strategic impact in fulfilling the Great Commission.

The purpose of LDHR is to grow IGSL’s leadership culture and capacity for its calling by catalyzing the care, development and health of existing faculty and staff as well as hiring new qualified faculty and staff.
